Judith.Miller (at) valpo.eduProfessor Miller joined the Valparaiso University faculty in the fall of 1978. Her work in special collections includes archives, rare books, and unique collections owned by the University. On campus, she is a Faculty Senator member of University Council and a member of the Intercollegiate Athletics Committee.
Areas of research interest include the collaboration between academic and school librarians, biases in periodical collections, and library use by student-athletes.

Prof. Miller is the first Special Collections Librarian at the University. Her new position will facilitate the organization of the wealth of unique materials owned by the University and held in the Christopher Center Archives and Special Collections area. The preservation and reformatting of materials in Special Collections is the highest priority.
Areas of Interest:
She is the scorer for the VU Women’s basketball home games and substitutes for the scorer of the VU Men's basketball home games. She is married to Welton "Archie" Miller– a fellow VU alum – and is an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan. Prof. Miller has collaborated with her mother to compile one family genealogy and revise another. She is a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and enjoys singing in choirs and cantoring.
