Professor Resetar joined the Valpo faculty in January of 1987. She coordinates the library’s catalog and circulation system – and supervises materials receiving, cataloging and processing. She is the liaison for the science and engineering fields and does reference and research instruction for students and faculty in those disciplines. She serves as the non-scientist member of the VU Animal Care and Use committee and is a member of the University Environmental Sustainability subcommittee.

Prior to joining the VU faculty, Prof. Resetar worked in libraries at Marquette University, the University of Kansas, and at the John G. Shedd Aquarium.

Areas of research interest include the planning and equipping of libraries; and library work-flow, management, general operations, and assessment.

Professor Resetar’s current favorite book is Dragonflies of Indiana. Outside interests include nature study, genealogy, and the Arts and Crafts movement, 1894-1920.
