VU Authors Reception

Submit a book for the Valpo Authors' Reception

Members of the Valpo Community are encouraged to submit a book to be included in the Valpo Authors' Reception. The deadline for submission for the 2013 Reception is April 18, 2013.

Guidelines for submissions

The Library will honor books at the 2013 Reception that:

  • Have been published between September 1, 2011 and December 31, 2012
  • Are authored, edited, or translated by Valparaiso University faculty, staff, students, retirees, or emeriti
  • The book must have been reviewed and refereed by an editor, or an editorial board

     

    The books may be:
  • Jointly authored, edited or translated, OR
  • New editions that have been previously honored if more than 30% of the book is new material
