Media Equipment Loan Service

The Christopher Center offers a select collection of presentation media that may be borrowed by Valparaiso University faculty, staff, and students for use on or off-campus. As campus academic buildings have their own presentation equipment, please verify the availability of classroom equipment prior to requesting use of this equipment for on-campus use.

Location: Christopher Center, first floor, at the Circulation and IT Help Desk across from the elevator.

Contacting Media Equipment Loan Services: (219) 464-5774

Hours: Equipment loans are handled only at the Media and IT Help Desk during regular Library Services hours. Please pick up equipment 30 minutes prior to closing; returns may be made during open hours.

Eligible Users: Current faculty, staff and students of Valparaiso University. Some equipment has a restricted loan status and cannot be loaned directly to students. An instructor whose students require use of such equipment can request that specific (named) students may have access to specific equipment. The equipment will be checked out to that instructor who then takes full responsibility for the equipment.
