During the academic year when the Library is closed, the Community Room is accessible 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for use by students, faculty, and staff. These affiliated users may access the space by using their Valparaiso University OneCard to gain swipe access through the north entrance of the building (main entrance on second floor). Hours may vary during extended academic breaks and the summer. It is generally not appropriate or permissible to sleep in the Community Room and anyone found sleeping may be asked to leave or lose their privilege to the area. Guests of the building or university cannot use the Community Room after hours.
